COMPETITION ENTRY: The Old Harbour and its Environs
The old harbour and pier in Tihany were built almost at the same time as steamboating started on Lake Balaton. The local government of the town issued a call for entries for architectural concepts to develop the tumbledown area.
In our submission we designed a new sports harbour and a pier.
The restoration and refitting of the scattered buildings and art works at the site are integral parts of the design concept.
